Very dark, involves rape. Red color or pigment; the chromatic color resembling the hue of blood.Red; passion, danger, hot, fire… The one thing Kristin never thought a color could mean was fear. She shook her head looking down at her naked body what had happened? Last night… July 1st. She and a producer from LA went out for dinner. They were talking about…about a new show.“Thank you for tonight.” The blonde looked up at the man, “I had a very nice time.”“Me too,” He smiled at her shifting his weight form foot to foot. His hands buried in his over coat pockets.“So…did I get the part?” She joked opening her apartment door.“Oh darling you more than got the part.”Suddenly his lips crushed against hers. She tried to push him away but he forced his way into the apartment. His fingers fiddled with the lock sliding the bolt into place with a click. “What are you doing? Get out!” Kristin felt the fear rising up with in her. “Oh come on darling you’ve been sending me signals all night. You want me.” He began backing her towards the kitchen. “NO! I don’t, please leave.” The more she argued the more turned on he seemed to get. He had her pinned against the kitchen counter and with one lighting fast movement his arm was around her waist. The small blonde was no match for him as he lifted her up and dragged her screaming into the bedroom. How he got her skirt up so fast she didn’t know but she felt something warm press against her naked thigh and instinct took over. She fought with everything she had. Her voice ached and after a few minutes it died down to a mere squawk. “No, please.” “What’s the matter baby never been with a man before?” He asked laughing.Kristin felt the tears flow down her face and the guilt rising with in her. Her first time would be with a lunatic. “NO! Please don’t do this to me.” “Shut up darling, you’ll love it.”That’s when she felt it, a searing white pain spread from her center outward, like sandpaper sliding into her. A strangled scream ripped from her throat. It took five minutes of excruciating pain and then it was over. He rolled off and stood. “Call me darling.” He kissed her lips and then left. She laid stunned at what had just happened her mind swirling unable to comprehend. Suddenly a sound made her jump she looked over at the nightstand where her phone was. With a shaky hand she reached out. “H-Hello?” She whispered. “Kris?”The blonde’s eyes stung. “Dina.” She whispered. The brunette frowned. “Are you okay? You sound…funny.”“No, I’m good.” There was an awkward pause.“Are you doing anything tomorrow?”“Umm no why?”“I was wondering if you wanted to hit the mall?”Her eyes widened the thought of Idina see her like this, damaged, she couldn’t even think of it. “No! I mean…I can’t I have plans.”“But you just said…”“I’m sorry Dina, I forgot. Got to go!” She quickly hung up the phone.Idina frowned Kristin NEVER turned down a shopping date.Kristin’s mind floated back to the present her body ached. She felt his hands on her and she shivered at the touch. She didn’t remember getting undressed at all. Running a hand through her damp hair she sighed she must have showered. Suddenly the door to her bedroom was thrown open the blonde screamed though it sounded more of a moan. Idina shielded her eyes upon seeing Kristin naked, “Oh my god! I’m so sorry its just you weren’t answering my calls or the door and…” She heard a soft whimpered and slowly dropped her hands. “Darling?” She whispered slowly approaching the bed where Kristin and balled herself into a fetal position.“No! Don’t call me that.”“I’m sorry…you’re voice what happened?” She gently sat down on the bed she reached out to touch Kristin’s shoulder. When her hand made contact the blonde jerked away as if she was burned. “Kris?” Her brown eyes gazed down her naked back to the base of her spine something caught her eye. “Kristin there is…” The blonde pulled away more taking the sheet with her and that is when Idina saw it, red, red everywhere, on the mattress, the sheets and Kristin. She stood rounding the bed and yanked the sheet away from Kristin. “Oh MY GOD!” She shirked stepping back. Kristin’s legs where caked with drying blood. The blonde shivered curling tighter moaning in pain, her tears were falling in large drops down her perfect face. She felt a hand in her hair and again tried to pull away only to cry out. “OH MY GOD!” Idina tentatively turned the blonde towards her. “Baby,” She pulled the blonde into her arms. “Its okay, I promise it will be okay.” She stood slowly the blonde weighing nothing in her embrace. “We are going to go to the hospital okay?”“NO! Please no, they can’t see me.”“Kris something is wrong you’re bleeding.”“Just set me down. I need a shower that’s all.” She said struggling against Idina.“A shower?! Kristin there is blood ever-““Damn it Idina put me the fuck down.” The brunette was so started by the harsh language that she almost dropped the small woman. She watched as the small blonde limped towards the bathroom door. “Do you mind turning?” She snapped.“I…” Thinking better of arguing she simply turned around. She heard the bathroom door open with a soft squeak. “Dina? Could…could you...” She tired to keep her voice even, “Shower…I can’t it hurts.”“Oh baby.” Idina quickly rushed to the blonde.“I’m sorry…I’m such a mess I didn’t mean to!” A choked sob made its way to her lips. She reached out blindly for the shower faucet.“Kris we can just sit for awhile, you don’t have to shower right now.”“No! I need to…I’m dirty,” She hung her head “You shouldn’t even be looking at me.” With blurry eyes she looked down her body disgusted. “So ugly.” She muttered turning on the water.“Hey you’re beautiful.” The brunette whispered “What’s going on.”“Nothing okay? Just…nothing.” “Kristin please…”“God damn it shut up!” She grabbed the nearest thing, a shampoo bottle and hurtled it across the room. It crashed into the vanity mirror shattering it. Idina shrieked and jumped away the glass shards cascaded down onto her arm. Wincing she looked down to see tiny rivers of red being to form against her alabaster skin she looked shocked at the blonde who sat rocking herself against the base of the tub. “No, please just stop.” She murmured over and over again. Idina watched as a finely manicured hand reached out and picked up a shard of glass. The glazed green eyes examined it before bringing it down gently on her arm tracing an unknown pattern. “I said no.” She whispered pressing down harder until red began to ooze up from the perfect tan skin. “Numb. Damn I can’t even feel that,” Her eyes met Idina’s but the brunette swore she could see right through those eyes into the curtain behind her. She watched as the blonde dug deeper. “Nothing left.” She whispered “Isn’t that weird?” Finally Idina was able to move herself. “Kristin no,” She grabbed the piece of glass.“What are you doing?!” Kristin reached for the object and Idina quickly threw it across the room. “Baby what ever it is we can get through it together, just me and you.” She knelt in front of the blonde. “I love you Kris,” She took her face in her hands. “What ever it is we can get through this.”“No this time. I’m so damaged Dina.” She met deep brown eyes. “I’m broken.”“Baby just tell me, please!” She pulled the blonde into her arms holding her as tightly as she could. “I said no.” She whispered again. Then it clicked. “Wh-What did you say?”“I said no I begged him not to. But after there was so much red every where I had to clean it up I thought I did but those sheets…I ruined them.” She choaked I didn’t mean to Idina I really didn’t! But I did, I destroyed them, its my fault.” She pulled back and gazed franticly into her eyes.“No, not your fault, none of this is.” She cleared her throat she felt the most unbelievable rage well up inside her she blinked hard trying to get her vision to focus “I’m right here; no one will ever hurt you again.” Her fingers tangled into the blonde hair. “It’s not your fault baby, I love you.”Kristin looked down at the white title floor; it was now spotted with red.Reviews make me happy :D
Wow, that last sentence...
::lip trembles:: you win in the Cheno torture! WOW
This was very well done. You took us on a very frightening journey with Kristin and I think that you wrote her initial detachment and then self blame perfectly.
